Backplane Systems Technology has launched the GETT Asia KSI-U10210 CLEANTYPE PRIME SERIES TOUCH/TOUCH+, a desktop silicone keyboard designed for medical use. This innovative keyboard features an IP68 rating, as it is both dustproof and waterproof. This means it can be cleaned and disinfected, offering a high level of hygiene in comparison to standard keyboards. Such sanitisation capabilities make the keyboard suitable for hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities.

Designed with user convenience in mind, the keyboard also features a keylock function, simplifying the cleaning process by disabling keys during sanitisation. An added bonus is the USB plug that comes with a protective cap, further enhancing the cleanliness and durability of the device.

The keyboard is designed for comfort and ease of use. It provides the familiar writing comfort of a regular office keyboard and includes an integrated capacitive touchpad, eliminating the need for a separate mouse. The adjustable backlight enables the keyboard to remain user-friendly in dimly lit environments.

The keyboard can also be attached to any magnetic surface due to its magnetic mounting on the rear side. This feature, coupled with its slim design, makes it a practical solution for cramped workspaces.
