MtronPTI has introduced the M9100 series of global positioning system disciplined oscillators (GPSDO), a small device designed to meet military environmental requirements and timing system demands including holdover. It is suitable for man-pack, vehicle-mount and airborne applications.

The device is the first with such a small form factor that it can work in systems that not only require extremely precise timing accuracy, but exact geo-location needs as well.

It uses a 10 MHz OCXO-source and has 1 pps (pulse per second) accuracy of ±50 ns to UTC RMS (1-Sigma) when GPS locked and \<±11 µs holdover for 3 h at 25 °C.

It can operate over a commercial temperature range of 0 to 60 °C.
