M2M Connectivity has launched the FSUE04 IESM (internal expansion socket module) ethernet board for the Sierra Wireless AirLink FX GPRS modem.

The board (with a 10Base-T RJ45 interface) with the fastrack supreme can connect remote serial devices to an ethernet network over GPRS. The ethernet/fastrack supreme bundle can also act as a router/gateway using wireless GSM to provide primary network connectivity to any ethernet device or small networks of IP devices.

Other key features include: internet plug-in, which allows automatic connection to the internet through TCP/IP; DNS support; DHCP client for automatic configuration or static IP addressing; and IP routing and gateway.
