Interworld has released the AHM-6xx7 series human machine interface controllers, specifically designed for monitoring and process control applications. Suitable for graphical machine control through touch screens, the dedicated panel PCs are based on the Atom N270 1.6 GHz processors and provide support for embedded operating systems.

The series combines an embedded single board computer with a TFT LCD screen housed in a compact chassis that can be panel or VESA mounted. Five models are available featuring LCD panels with sizes ranging from 5.7 to 17 and resolutions ranging from 640 x 480 to 1024 x 768 pixels.

All models include analog resistive touch screens that allow 80% light transmission.

The series features a 533 MHz front side bus with support for up to 2 GB of DDR2 SODIMM RAM. All models provide an extensive range of I/O options including up to four serial ports, two RJ45 GbE ports, analog VGA video, PS/2 keyboard and mouse and audio connectors.

The front panels are rated to NEMA 4/IP65 specifications and when mounted in a panel are resistant to dust and water penetration.

The processor allows the series to provide high performance while maintaining low power consumption.

Built-in DC to DC converters ensure the controllers can operate from a wide range 11 to 28 VDC.
