ICP Electronics Australia has launched the fourth generation of iEi’s AFOLUX Panel PC series, the AFL4-W13-EHL. The fanless panel PC is suitable for light industrial markets, including factory automation, retail, medical, digital signage and POS (point of sale).
Embedded with the Intel Celeron J6412 processor and 8 GB LPDDR4x soldered memory, this panel PC strikes a balance between enhanced performance and ultra-low power consumption. Its sleek, tablet-like appearance, coupled with a robust aluminium casing, enhances the device’s durability.
The panel PC is built with a PCAP touchscreen and features a range of wireless communication capabilities, including WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. These features, along with its rich I/O, make it a suitable candidate for IoT applications that require high-speed connectivity, large embedded RAM and low power consumption.
Taking into account the requirements of industrial environments, the front panel of the panel PC is designed to be IP64 compliant, for dust-tight protection and resilience against water splashes.
iEi’s glass-glass PCAP touch technology, integrated with industrial-grade controllers, adapts to harsh environments, even supporting gloved and wet hand operation — a boon for industries such as food processing, chemical and beverage.
