International Rectifier AUIPS2051L and AUIPS2052G 75 V power switches

International Rectifier has introduced the AUIPS2051L and AUIPS2052G 75 V low-side intelligent power switches for harsh 24 V motor vehicle environments, including truck junction box applications.

The devices feature a 70 V active clamp and provide protection features. They shut down in the event of over-temperature or over-current conditions, restarting once the input is turned off and turned on again and provide the diagnostic information via a serial resistor connected to the input pin. The range is suitable for any 24 V motor vehicle loads such as solenoids or as electromechanical relay replacements.

The AUIPS2052G is a dual-channel device while the AUIPS2051L is a single-channel device. The turn-on and turn-off time are optimised to minimise noise in EMI-sensitive automotive applications. Both devices also provide ESD protection and low current and logic level input.
