International Rectifier AUIRGDC0250 motor vehicle-qualified IGBT
International Rectifier has introduced the AUIRGDC0250, a motor vehicle-qualified IGBT, optimised for soft switching applications such as positive temperature coefficient heater applications used in electric and hybrid vehicles.
Available in a Super TO-220 package, the 1200 V device features low VCE(on), to reduce power dissipation and achieve higher power density, positive VCE(on) temperature coefficient, making the device suitable for paralleling, and optimised square reverse bias safe operating area (RBSOA).
The soft switching nature makes it suitable for helping to adhere to system-level EMI regulations.
