Backplane Systems has released IBASE’s MI950 mini-ITX motherboard with Intel active management support.
The MI950 supports the latest Core 2 Duo processors in an LGA775 package and also supports the next-generation Intel 45 nm multi-core processors with up to 1333 front side bus.
Featuring two DDR3 memory slots, the Q45 chipset-based platform delivers scalable systems with capabilities for applications such as high-end gaming, digital signage, traditional industrial control and automation, POS and kiosk applications.
The motherboard is supplied with the Intel graphics media accelerator 4500 that implements high-resolution, dual independent displays (CRT + DVI outputs).
I/O ports are provided by 10 USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, four SATA II ports and one eSATA port interface designed for use with external SATA devices.
Other features include a single or dual gigabit ethernet LAN, high-definition audio and a watchdog timer.
Optionally supported is Intel’s active management technology.
