The output filters from Schaffner, model 510 series, reduce voltage slew rate (dV/dt) from inverter drives for variable speed motors.
The filters are suitable for servo drives, closed loop vector drives and robotic applications and generally for both long and short drive cable set-ups.
The filters have low output impedance and are suitable for fast and accurate dynamic changes typical of servo operations.
There are eight models in the series ranging in ratings from 1.5 to 30 kW (4 to 66 A). The low loss devices are protected against overload by a fan and internal temperature monitoring.
The housing (IP20) and touch-safe terminals provide equipment safety.
