Recom has launched its 1 and 1.5 A switching regulators.
The R-78Bxx-1.0 and R-78Bxx-1.5 series have efficiencies of up to 95% and are pin-compatible with its 0.5 A R-78xx-0.5 series and with the common 78xx linear regulators.
The R-78Bxx-1.0 and R-78Bxx-1.5 series do not require a heat sink.
The devices offer wide input ranges from 4.75 to 34 VDC and outputs from 1.5 to 15 VDC.
The switching regulators are non-isolated and feature built-in short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown.
