Now available from Active Components is the Phoenix Passives SEW5 series of 5 W wirewound SMT resistors, available in values from 0R47 to 4K7 with a 5% tol. (10% up to IR5). They have a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C and an insulation voltage >2000.
The SMT terminals underneath the body provide for stable mounting. The resistor is RoHS compliant and is also available in a 3 W version (SEW3).
