Splash-proof switch

Lorlin Electronics has a range of switches with an O-ring seal and waterproof grease sealant between the shaft and brush providing a dust and splashproof seal between the switch and mounting panel.

The PT rotary multi-wafer switch series offers up to 144 changeover contacts. Make-before-break and break-before-make contacts are available with 30° indexing as standard with 36, 60 or 90° indexing to special order.

Contacts may be specified with silver or gold flash plating and multi-deck connection is via PCB terminals on a 2.54 mm pitch.

Standard spindle diameters are 6 or 6.35 mm with length moulded to order. The series may be further customised with an adjustable stop, brass fixing bush, spindles with special flats and non-standard wafer spacers.

The switch family has contacts rated at 500 mA at 250 VAC/DC and an operating life expectancy of \>10,000 cycles over the temperature range -30 to +85°C.
