SSV has released the OTP/57V, a compact touch panel PC, suitable for HMI applications where small mounting space is available.
The software package meets all requirements for a fast building of individual control surfaces. The main processor works fanless and is based on the Vortex86DX SoC of DMP. This unites CPU core, north and south bridge as well as numerous periphery functions into one single IC.
The memory consists of 1 GB NAND flash and 128 MB DDR2 DRAM. Interfaces include 1x 10/100 Mbps ethernet, 2x USB host with 480 Mbps, 2x RS232, 1x RS485 as well as 1x CAN is available.
The device is equipped with a 5.7" TFT colour touch screen. The integrated XGI Volari-Z9s LCD controller with 64 MB DDR2 video DRAM has a display resolution of 640 x 460 pixels and a brilliance of 400 cd/m2 ensure high image quality.
The rugged front (IP 65) facilitates a quick mounting in 19" control cabinets with three height units (3 HE).
The pre-installed embedded Linux, X-server as well as the original Sun Java run time Environment (J2SE JRT) with swing support make the system an open and high-performance HMI platform.
