Stainless panel PC
Interworld Electronics has released the APC-3576 stainless steel fanless waterproof panel PC.
The APC-3576 is sealed to NEMA 4/IP65 specifications on all sides. All the standard I/O ports including the DC power unit, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and ethernet and USB ports use weatherproof sealed connectors.
The PC is an Intel Celeron M 1.0 GHz and 15" high brightness 350 cd/m2 TFT LCD housed in an IP65 stainless steel enclosure.
The device supports 1 GB of 200/266 MHz DDR SDRAM, an internal 2.5" hard drive and provides an internal CompactFlash slot of expansion. The LCD provides a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and is covered by a mechanically inert glass front panel fitted with a projected capacitive touch screen.
Additional I/O includes 2x COM ports, 1x external VGA, 1x ethernet port, 2x USB ports, PS/2 keyboard and mouse.
The device is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 °C with a non-condensing relative humidity of 10 to 90% at 40 °C. It uses standard VESA 75 mounting holes and can be mounted on a range of commercially available arms and brackets.
The wide-range DC input (11 to 28 V) allows it to operate from most DC supplies.
