Murata Power Solutions has added a model to its VR110 series of single inline packaged voltage regulator modules to address applications where component height is restricted.
The VR110B080CA-1C has a single 7-bit DAC programmable output of 0.8375 VDC to 1.6 VDC; maximum output current is 80 A. Input voltage is 12 DC and full load efficiency is 88%. The device is Intel VRM 11.0 compliant.
Features include power good output, differential remote sense, remote enable, dynamic VID capability and a tri-state output when disabled.
A set of supervisory and self-protection features such as output overcurrent, short-circuit protection, an output current level signal and an overtemperature indicator are also incorporated.
