Endace has announced an analytics application that integrates with the company’s packet capture appliances.

Built into the multifunction NinjaProbe, the Endace Analysis Center 2000 (EAC-2000) has an intuitive graphical user interface that supports drag-and-drop filtering of live and captured data, for ready and thorough analysis of all network traffic.

The application resides on board NinjaProbe, a high-speed data capture and storage device that consolidates previously disparate monitoring probe capabilities into a single, multifunction platform.

Capable of communicating with multiple Windows-based EAC-2000 clients, the server provides metadata summaries of large captured files, for immediate graphical analysis of network traffic and activity.

For deeper analysis, it provides complete or filtered packet captures directly to Wireshark, the open source protocol decoder.
