ASAX Leopard Hunt II T-Series solid state disk drives

The ASAX Leopard Hunt II T-Series solid state disk (SSD) drives are claimed to deliver good storage performance for enterprise, laptop and embedded systems.

The host interface is SATA II 3.0 GBps and the built-in error correction code (ECC) function and static and dynamic wear-leveling algorithm are claimed to ensure reliable data transfer.

High-performance controllers combined with 64 MB internal cache and SLC or MLC NAND flash, eight-channel synchronous transmission design deliver sequential read speed up to 260 MBps and write speed up to 230 MBps, which is claimed to be greater than most SSDs. Suitable for fast transaction speeds for a database server or fast sequential read and write speeds for embedded systems or personal computing, the series meets the requirements of most industry applications.

The SSDs feature low power consumption, shock and vibration resistance, no noise, no latency delay and no seek error. The disks have an operating temperature of 0 to +85°C making them suitable for rugged laptops, thin clients, POS, medical instruments, telecom, military, surveillance systems, industrial PCs and other embedded applications.

The SSDs are a suitable replacement for high-maintenance rotating hard disk drives where reliability is a major concern.
