FLIR i7 infrared camera

Tuesday, 10 November, 2009 | Supplied by: Teledyne FLIR

With the launch of the i7 camera, joining the pocket i5 model, FLIR has expanded its range of entry-level infrared cameras for plumbers, electricians, window installers, insulation installers or HVAC system technicians.

Readings are immediately and clearly visible on a full-colour display and are saved as an image. The devices are suitable for detecting hidden problems, assessing damages, surveying for moisture and leaks, identifying energy losses and poor insulation, finding electrical faults and overheating.

Key features include: large 2.8 colour LCD screen; 120 x 120 pixels image resolution; and five hours of battery life (field replaceable).

Both cameras have large memory storage, up to 5000 radiometric JPEG format images can be saved to the included MicroSD card and these images can be analysed using the included QuickReport PC software.
