Interworld Electronics MLiS MLB-E4119-16 Ethernet switch
Interworld Electronics has released the MLiS MLB-E41119-16 16-port unmanaged Industrial Ethernet switch with 10/100 Mbps auto negotiating copper RJ45 ports.
The product is designed for industrial applications and features a rugged metal enclosure, fanless operation and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +75°C. In addition, the Ethernet ports provide 1.5 kV Vrms 1 min (Hipot), plus 2 kV surge protection allowing the device to withstand high-voltage transients which can be caused by heavy machinery or lightning strikes.
The switch provides dual redundant 12–58 VDC power inputs with reverse power protection. DIN rail- and wall-mounting options, along with a screw terminal power input block, make it suitable for industrial installations. Firmware features include Layer 2 line-speed switching fabric, multicast and a broadcast storm function to protect networks from unexpected traffic flooding.
The device is suitable for general applications and harsh industrial environments. With plug-and-play ease of use, plus compact size, it can easily be used on factory production lines, embedded into machines and intelligent transports systems or applied for simple network expansion.
