This helps them to keep track of multibrand test assets across labs, locations and users; reduce time spent on physical inventory counts and compliance audits; and track the movement of crucial instruments using active and passive technologies.

Users can monitor test equipment to determine physical condition and true utilisation with Utilization and Health Services. This is designed to help increase utilisation of tests assets across users, programs and departments; identify unhealthy instruments and remedy the situation before it causes broader problems; and fund further technology investments with value captured from underutilised assets.

Finally, users can share equipment across teams to optimise test assets by using real-time, actionable information with Loan Pool Services. This is said to help avoid CapEx spending on tests assets by optimising, standardising or sharing across R&D labs and manufacturing operations; eliminate ageing or underutilised equipment and reduce OpEx costs for maintenance, taxes, insurance and overheads; and leverage the residual market value of ageing instruments through trade-in, upgrade and disposal.
