Keysight Technologies’ U5850 series of thermal imagers allows technicians to detect abnormalities without shutting down systems in industrial settings. The imagers include four times in-camera fine resolution of 320 x 240 pixels from a 160 x 120 pixel detector. Together with the manual focus feature, the product provides clear, sharp and fine details to detect problems quickly.

The series offers image logging and temperature trending capabilities to monitor temperature changes over time for quality checks and diagnostic purposes. With 0.07°C thermal sensitivity, users can capture, save and analyse temperature changes. For in-depth analysis and report generation, technicians can use the TrueIR Analysis and Reporting Tool PC software.

The U5856A and U5857A imagers can perform temperature measurements up to 650°C and 1200°C respectively. This allows users to detect a wide temperature range for various applications, such as petrochemical and steel processing, electrical and mechanical applications, building maintenance and even electronics applications.

The U5855A’s compact, light and ergonomic design allows engineers to comfortably use the thermal imager for long periods of time and operate it single-handedly in tight locations. Users can change settings or access frequently used functions such as flashlight, laser pointer and auto scaling or simply capture a thermal image with quick-access buttons. With the customisable colour palette, users can customise the right colour palettes for their applications.
