Inline Systems has released the battery-driven low-cost VIS220 Wöhler service camera.
The VIS220 system is based around individual components that can be bought separately, but is housed in its own purpose-built portable custom transport case.
The units are suitable for almost any visual inspection of dark cavities and enclosures, eg, pipes, ventilation ducts, machinery, chassis and structures, walls or ceiling structural elements.
The system comprises a portable 960 x 234 pixel TFT LCD PAL display which measures 5.6" diagonal with an RCA video output. The unit operates on a rechargeable 12 V Ni-Cad with a 1.5 h duration.
The specifications of the camera head are colour 3.0 lux 26 x 38 mm with 12 bright white LEDs for illumination.
