TiR32 thermal imager

Thursday, 15 October, 2009 | Supplied by: Fluke Australia Pty Ltd

Fluke has introduced the TiR32 thermal imager, designed to deliver performance for builders, energy audits, weather investigation and roofing professionals.

The instrument increases accuracy, using the company's IR-Fusion technology where users can marry high-precision thermal images with visible light images in full screen, picture-in-picture or blended views.

It has physical parallax correction that enables perfect alignment, pixel by pixel, of both infrared and visible images.

The imager includes a three-button menu designed for intuitive operation and navigation, on-screen emissivity correction, transmissivity correction and high-temperature alarm.

Each unit is supplied with two field-swappable, rechargeable batteries that enable virtually continuous imager use, with a typical battery life of more than four hours each. Optional telephoto and wide-angle lenses are available.

The device includes a 2 GB standard definition memory card that will store at least 3000 basic infrared images, .bmp or .jpg formats, or 1200 fully radiometric, .is2 IR Fusion file format, infrared and linked visual images, each with 60 s of voice annotation, as well as a multifunction memory card reader for downloading images into a computer.
