VectorNav VN-310E dual GNSS/inertial navigation system
The VectorNav VN-310E is a compact, tactical-grade dual GNSS/inertial navigation system (GNSS/INS) designed for applications requiring precise navigation, positioning and orientation in demanding environments. Integrating two multi-band GNSS receivers, precision MEMS inertial sensors and advanced onboard sensor fusion, the system is designed to deliver position, velocity and attitude information for autonomous and mission-critical systems.
Dual-antenna GNSS technology enables true heading while stationary, eliminating the need for vehicle movement to establish heading. The integrated inertial navigation system helps maintain navigation performance during brief GNSS interruptions, making the VN-310E suitable for challenging operating conditions.
Measuring 31 x 31 x 12 mm, weighing 15 g and consuming less than 1.6 W, the inertial navigation system is designed for a range of space-constrained platforms. Navigation outputs are available at rates up to 400 Hz, with raw IMU data up to 800 Hz, enabling responsive control for high-dynamic applications.
Suitable for UAVs, UGVs, marine systems, robotics, defence platforms and other autonomous vehicles, the VectorNav VN-310E is available in Australia and New Zealand through Metromatics, the authorised distributor for VectorNav.
