iBase ISR500 digital signage player

Backplane Systems Technology has launched the iBase ISR500, a ruggedised and fanless digital signage player powered by MediaTek processors. Available with either the MediaTek Genio 700 (MT8390) 2.2 GHz or the MediaTek Genio 510 (MT8370) 2.0 GHz processor, the ISR500 is designed to provide high-performance digital signage solutions. It supports dual HDMI outputs, with one supporting 4K60 and the other FHD60, making it suitable for high-definition displays. The device includes 4 GB of LPDDR4 memory and embedded I/O for COM, GPIO, USB, HDMI, and Ethernet, for a range of connectivity options.

The ISR500 also supports M.2 E-Key (2230) for Wi-Fi 6 2T2R and Bluetooth 5.2, enhancing its connectivity capabilities. Its design also enables performance in a variety of environments, from retail to transportation hubs and public spaces. This design makes it suitable for applications that require durability and consistent performance, even under challenging conditions.
