MACOM supports a large portfolio of components for optical communications from long-haul core networks to FTTx access networks. The portfolio addresses the high-performance analog interfaces between electrical and optical domains and provides solutions to meet the demanding size, power and signal integrity requirements of today’s high-speed networks, which are expanding to meet the continuously growing demand for data capacity.
The products include high-performance modulator drivers, transimpedance amplifiers and clock/data recovery circuits (including the M37046G-12 quad CDR) for enterprise and telecom optical systems operating up to 100 Gbps and beyond. For FTTx, the company has a broad portfolio of laser drivers, limiting amplifiers, transimpedance amplifiers and crosspoint switches covering systems.
