Managing DC power in electrically harsh vehicle environments is a critical challenge for ADAS system designers. Maxim’s application-optimised ICs regulate, manage and protect DC power, offering a combination of small package size, high operating efficiency, low quiescent current, integrated ASIL-B/D electrical protection and low EMI.
The MAX20019 Dual Synchronous Step-Down Converter is a 3.2 MHz dual step-down power supply in a small 2 x 3 mm package size. Competing solutions offer single-channel parts in either a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 mm package size.
The MAX20087 Quad Camera Power Protector is an ASIL-B/D grade camera module protector IC that includes an I²C interface to report on overvoltage/undervoltage/fault conditions. It monitors up to four 600 mA coax channels and isolates faults from individual camera modules.
The MAX20075 and MAX20076 Step-Down Converters offer low quiescent current with peak and valley mode options and provides a high peak efficiency of 91% for always-on applications, while featuring a 40 V load-dump tolerance.
