Siemens Process Preparation Stencil Engineering Tool

On-track Technology has incorporated the Siemens Process Preparation Stencil Engineering Tool into its suite of products. This addition complements the company’s range of Siemens Process Preparation SMT Preparation and Programming Engineering tools. 

Siemens Process Preparation remains a core component of On-track Technology’s capability in processing PCBA datasets from clients. It has facilitated a standardised workflow, enabling the merging and normalisation of PCBA data for SMT line programming. Custom API integrations have also been implemented to link On-track Technology’s internally developed ERP/MRP/MES systems. This integration streamlines BOM data sharing, enhances automation and accommodates last-minute customer changes, which are reflected in the Siemens Process Preparation database.

The Siemens Process Preparation Stencil Engineering Tool is designed to optimise the critical task of stencil creation, providing first-time-right stencils and accurate paste quantity estimates per PCBA; it should thus reduce costs associated with stencil re-spins and SMT line downtime. It also improves the quality of SMT NPI ramp-ups and facilitates the integration of lessons learned into future stencil designs.
