Positronic EM360 machined banding backshell for 360° shield termination
The industry appetite for improved shielding effectiveness is constantly increasing. In keeping with this trend, Positronic is releasing the EM360 banding backshell for D-sub connector applications where 360° shield termination is required, such as spaceflight and commercial aerospace applications. The 360° shield termination capability is achieved using a Band-It-style clamp.
The product has a split-body design with top-opening, side-opening and low-profile options. Made of a low magnetic aluminium alloy (EN AW 5083), the lightweight device includes electroless nickel plating and captive jackscrews. Various cable entry diameters are available.
