Schurter USFF 1206 50 mA surface mount chip fuse

Schurter has expanded its range of surface mount chip fuses with its USFF 1206 50 mA fuse. The 50 mA fuse has a lower voltage loss and an exact opening time which provides a safe solution for the optimal operation of sensitive electronic systems.

The wire-bonding technology used in the product allows stable operation at ambient temperatures from -55 to +90°C, making it suitable for the protection of applications, such as in sensors, ICs and batteries. The fuse is particularly suited for the protection of smart metering systems. It has cURus certification, is halogen-free, conforms to RoHS and is also suitable for lead-free systems.

Features include: low voltage drop of 75 mV (250 mA) to 430 mV (50 mA); fast, precise opening; rated currents from 50 to 250 mA; voltages up to 125 VAC/63 VDC; breaking capacity of 100 A at rated voltage; and (FF) characteristics according to UL 248-14.

Applications include smart meters, battery protection, sensors, mobile devices and semiconductor protection.
