ICP DAS iSN-711-MRTU vibration sensor module

ICP Australia has introduced the ICP DAS iSN-711-MRTU, a single-axis vibration sensor module. The module is an intelligent vibration detection device with a built-in MEMS accelerometer, which enables it to easily realise equipment vibration monitoring. The module supports one RS-485 communication interface with Modbus RTU slave protocol; the user can transmit Modbus RTU commands to read the sensor’s data by RD-485 interface. The module is suitable for real-time vibration detection in critical locations for factory monitoring applications, such as production line equipment, motors and pumps, where there is a need to monitor any vibration application.

The iSN-711-MRTU is a multifaceted module that is designed to improve the governance of the environment in which it is deployed. The module can detect problems in the nearby vicinity and report the errors, thereby enabling safety, efficiency and a proactive approach to operational management.

The module features a frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 kHz and an amplitude range of ±8 g. The data format includes acceleration (RMS, Maximum, P-P), velocity (mm/s, RMS), crest factor and top 10 spectrum values (amplitude/frequency).
