ASM PCFP25 series slimline sensors

Monday, 17 May, 2010 | Supplied by: Automated Control Pty Ltd

Automated Control Engineering and ASM have launched the PCFP25 series of slimline magnetostrictive sensors to complement the existing Posichron range. The latest series has been specifically designed for harsh applications with limited space, with a profile of only 8 x 28 mm.

The sensors are industrial grade and have been designed to be maintenance free due to the non-contact sensing technology that is also resistant to shocks and vibration. The small profile of the sensors means they can also be used for safety applications where two units can be mounted together, either vertically or horizontally, to provide two independent redundant outputs.

These sensors offer a range of absolute analog outputs of 0-10 VDC and 4-20 mA as well as CANbus versions and can be supplied in stroke lengths from 100 to 5500 mm in increments of 10 mm.
