Banner Engineering iVu Remote Touch Screen Display

Thursday, 22 April, 2010 | Supplied by: Micromax Pty Ltd

The iVu Remote Touch Screen Display, part of Banner Engineering’s image sensor series, gives easy-to-apply vision inspection to hard-to-access areas, including sealed work cells, cleanrooms or other certified areas.

Both the iVu TG image sensor and iVu bar code reader are available as iVu remote series sensors, replacing the sensors’ touch screens with a separate display, allowing users to program iVu sensors through a single display and change inspection parameters remotely. With the remote display, users do not require a PC or external devices.

The remote display has the same programming interface as the iVu’s integrated touch screen and one display can be used to program multiple sensors. Remote series sensors operate independently of the remote display, so the display can also be hot-swapped.

Connected via cable, the remote display facilitates access to the user interface and allows personnel to view inspection images from a distance.

The remote touch-screen display’s features include: display incorporates two LEDs that provide feedback on the remote sensor’s operation - one for power/error and the other indicating pass/fail inspection results; 3.5 diagonal colour LCD flat-panel touch-screen display; ergonomic shape that fits in hand; can be hot-swapped among multiple live sensors; five cordsets available - from 1 to 16 m in length; wide viewing angle - 60° left and 60° right; 50° up and 55° down; mounting bracket/docking station and stylus with cable are included.
