Vishay has released platinum SMD flat chip temperature sensors that offer thin film technology in three standard chip sizes — 0603, 0805 and 1206.
The devices feature short reaction times of ≤5 s (in air) and a temperature range from –55 to +155ºC.
A controlled platinum thin film manufacturing process means the Beyschlag sensors offer good temperature stability of ±0.04%, even in the long term, over a wide temperature range.
Featuring B and 2B tolerance classes, the devices provide a linear temperature characteristic of +3850 ppm/K, and offer resistance values of 100, 500, and 1 kΩ, with other values available on request.
