Heat stress monitor

The RSS 214 DL is a handheld micro processor based wet bulb globe thermometer that measures environmental factors that contribute to heat stress.

An optional data logger allows over 500 complete measurement records (data sets) at preselected intervals, for later transmission to a printer or computer.

The software provides data storage, retrieval and calculates time weighted mean WBGT and time weighted metabolic rates.

A personal sensor set (hard hat mounted) allows the RSS 214 with data logger to become a WBGT personal dosimeter.

This instrument measures wet bulb, dry bulb, vernon globe, indoor wet bulb and outdoor wet bulb. The occupational hygienist can use the data to set work rest regimens under conditions of extreme heat stress.
