Q18 inductive sensors

Tuesday, 07 September, 2004 | Supplied by: Micromax Pty Ltd

Turck has introduced the Q18 proximity sensor, a rectangular inductive device that is the latest addition to the Q-Pak range.

The one-piece rectangular housing offers a non-embeddable sensing range of 5 mm designed for non-contact sensing of metal objects.

The 3 wire DC, 10-30 VDC devices feature integral circuitry that protects against short-circuit, overload, wire-break and reverse polarity. They are also available with normally-open NPN (sinking) or PNP (sourcing) outputs.
