Backplane Systems is due to exhibit the Aurora series of rugged 19" rackmount LCD TFT monitors at the National Manufacturing Week 2004 exhibition.
The monitors are available in 15" 6U rackmount and 17" 8U rackmount sized displays.
The Aurora series has been designed to provide users with a clear monitoring device that is compatible with any standard 19" rack. The housing is constructed with heavy-duty steel with an aluminium front bezel to provide maximum protection.
The series features a wide viewing angle, a resolution of 1024 x 768 and a 250 nit brightness from four CCFL backlight lamps.
The series connects to a PC via VGA, composite S-video or video interface. This series also features analog-to-digital conversion plus NTSC/PAL/SECAM video decoding.
In addition, the monitors are equipped with on-screen display controls.
The series can be mounted in such applications as a control room, manufacturing floor or operating room.
