Sunlight-readable LCD monitors

Interworld Electronics has released a range of sunlight-readable monitors. The AP-LDLD series panel mount industrial LCD monitors are suitable for applications where the monitor is exposed to direct sunlight.

The monitors exhibit wide viewing angles of typically 140°/120°, fast response times, high contrast ratios up to 400:1 and high brightness with a luminance up to1600 nits.

Five models are available with 10.4" 800 x 600, 12.1" and 15" 1024x768, 17" 1280 x 1024 and 20" 800 x 600 TFT screens.

The series are supplied in an industrial panel mount housing that provides mechanical and environmental protection. These monitors can operate in temperatures from 0-50°C, humidity of 90% and withstand shocks of 50 G for 20 ms and vibrations up to 1.5 G at 10-200 Hz.

The monitors can also be supplied without a housing or bezel for OEM and system integrators who require an LCD panel that can be built in during the design stage.

Models are available with LVDS, VGA, composite video and S-video inputs making them suitable for audiovisual applications.
