Turck rotary inductive sensor series

Friday, 18 March, 2011 | Supplied by: Turck Australia Pty Ltd

Turck has introduced rotary inductive sensors, a range of inductive analog sensors that provides 360° angular measurement.

The sensors use resistance inductive capacitance measuring, rather than a traditional magnetic positioning element - delivering immunity to EMC interference.

The sensors are IP67 rated, with a temperature range of -40 to 70°C, making them suitable for measuring the angle of solar panels, wind turbine blade position, crane position and other outdoor applications.

The sensor and its positioning element are designed as separate pieces, allowing the positioning element to be mounted in a variety of ways - including directly onto a rotating shaft - without experiencing the wear common to these types of sensors.
