Advantech acquires Priority Electronics

Advantech is pleased to announce the acquisition of Priority Electronics Pty. Ltd. and the new name change to Advantech Australia Pty Ltd.

The Australian acquisition is part of Advantechs strategy to create a closer relationship with local business.

The purchase of Priority Electronics and the retention of staff has been designed to ensure a smooth transition for Priority Electronics client base.

In line with its worldwide global strategy, Advantech has set up three business units to service its client base. Each business unit will be responsible for developing and supporting key markets. Existing and new clients will benefit with the allocation of dedicated sales engineers, application engineers and supporting staff for each group.

The Business units will comprise of a Networking Computer Group (NCG), Embedded Computing Group (ECG) and an Industrial Automaton Group (IAG).
