SmartCal and Trio Test & Measurement Solutions have merged. The new Trio SmarCal is a Tektronix service, repair and calibration provider and was formed by ex-employees of the Tektronix service department when Tektronix closed its Australian T&M office in 2001.
SmartCal is also the authorised calibration provider for National Instruments and offers repairs and calibration on many other brands.
Trio was formed 40 years ago in Adelaide and represents Fluke, Yokogawa, LeCroy, Hameg and Rohde & Schwarz. The company also has a manufacturing division and is a manufacturer of portable appliance testers.
The new company offers users a test and measurement service. The includes pre- and post- sales advice, technical support, repair and calibration. It provides national geographic coverage with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.
