IEI MODAT-335 advanced ultra-high frequency reader

IEI's advanced ultra-high frequency reader, the MODAT-335, features an optional ultra-high frequency read, a technology that is becoming increasingly popular for solving difficult RFID problems and meeting business needs across industries.

Compared with the more mature high frequency tags that have a 1 m reading range on average, the UHF tags operate from 860 to 960 MHz and provide a reading range of up to 10 m.

The reader includes an optional handle grip with a barcode trigger. This allows users to carry and hold the device while reading tags. The angle at which the device can read tags is greatly increased when using this accessory.

The reader can be used for vehicle identification, verification and identification of vehicle transponders, as well as object or personnel tracking.
