The NV08C-MCM is an integrated satellite navigation receiver. The key feature of the product is its compatibility with both the global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) that have been deployed so far in the world - GPS and GLONASS. The Galileo, Compass and SBAS systems are also fully supported.

The compact unit combines high sensitivity and high-performance GNSS signal acquisition and tracking with low power consumption. Assisted GPS/GLONASS/Galileo (A-GNSS), dead reckoning and advanced power-saving modes are supported.

Developed for use in high-volume applications demanding low-power consumption and high performance, the product is suitable for in-car and handheld personal navigation, asset tracking, anti-theft systems, surveillance and security systems and other mobile applications

For the system integrator the receiver provides a variety of interfaces and flexible power supply options. A very compact and complete GNSS receiver can be integrated on a 2- or 4-layer PCB with a minimal number of external passive parts.

An evaluation/development kit is also available (NV08C-EVK-MCM) to enable developers to quickly familiarise themselves with the NV08C-MCM’s features and functionalities.
