The AS3990/91 ‘Simply Gen 2’ is a single-chip, ERC Class 1 Gen 2 UHF reader IC which includes an EPC Class 1 Gen 2 protocol engine and is available with an integrated PA.
The device has programmable features enabling a single stock keeping unit.
It has only 32 registers to enable full RF, filtering and protocol control, while maintaining flexibility and versatility.
The reader, with USB interface, is suitable for logistics, manufacturing and retail applications.
