Digi International has introduced the ConnectPort X5 series of compact, ruggedised telematics devices with optional satellite functionality, claimed to be the first telematics devices to incorporate mobile, satellite, GPS, Wi-Fi and vehicle area network wireless technology.

Suitable for fleet management and asset tracking, the series provides remote connectivity via mobile or satellite networks.
