The CW27 TrineX GPS receiver is aimed at the high-sensitivity market with the ability to track down to -159 dBm compared with -155 dBm and -150 dBm for the CW25 and CW20. It comes in a 24 x 24 mm SMT package which is easily integratable into the host platform.

The ability to use A-GPS data allows the device to get a fix even in harsh GPS conditions.

The receiver offers low power consumption, about 38 mA while tracking and 41 mA while in acquisition mode.

The receiver is self-contained and based on the Nemerix NX3 high-sensitivity A-GPS single-chip receiver.

Using a baseband processor and RF front end, the TrineX delivers good GPS performance and tracks down to -159 dBm, enabling tracking in many obstructed view environments such as urban canyons.
