AIIA and AEEMA proposed merger will not proceed

After a period of extensive investigation, the boards of both the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and the Australian Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association (AEEMA) have now decided to work together on common interests in close collaboration, rather than to proceed with a formal merger.

B&R and Hager this year celebrate their 50th anniversaries. They were independently founded in 1955, on opposite sides of the world. In Australia, both companies came together 11 years ago to form the joint venture company Hager B&R.


Agreement ends

Associations propose merge
