Advantech has launched its upgraded multi-segment, 20 slot, industrial PC platform chassis.
The enhanced features of the IPC-623-B include three 114 CFM high-speed cooling fans with upgraded fan boards, high-power N+1 redundant power supplies for up to 810 W with 3+1 configuration and upgraded alarm board with thermal sensors.
The chassis includes one 3.5" and three 5.25" front accessible drive bays as well as one internal 3.5" drive bay. When configured with only one single power supply three extra 3.5" disk drive bays are available for additional data storage.
The chassis has a user-friendly rotary lock so the door can be closed with or without a key.
With 570 W (2+1) or higher N+1 redundant power supply options, the chassis allows for dual AC power input cords through openings on the rear bezel. This feature increases stability and provides the necessary power for quad-segment system operation, with up to four multi-operating systems running simultaneously and independently in the one 4U chassis.
