A range of nylon pop rivets is now available from NPA. They offer an alternative to standard aluminium or steel pop rivets, especially from an aesthetic viewpoint.
The rivets have a nylon body and a clear polycarbonate mandrel and are set in the same manner as metal pop rivets with a standard installation tool. Nylon rivets offer protection from corrosion and electrical hazard, provide good chemical resistance and are suitable for use underwater.
12 sizes are available with diameters ranging from 3.2 to 5.6 mm; the gripping range varies from 1.0 to 11.5 mm, depending on type. Standard colours are black and white, but beige and grey are also available and large quantities can be colour matched to suit user requirements.
