Advantech’s Industrial Automation Group announces a flat panel monitor specifically designed to meet the flexible demands of a wide range of applications, especially in areas which require continuous cleaning. The 15.6″ HD resolution (1366 x 768) widescreen 16:9 monitor provides 40% more screen area than 4:3 displays and can therefore display more information.

So that it can be cleaned and operated in a wide range of environments, the FPM-7151W is IP66 certified, making it dust-tight and protected against jets of water. With the addition of multitouch capabilities through the use of an USB interface, 10 touch points can be programmed to provide even greater control and viewing of the information shown.

As with all Advantech flat panel monitors, the device is easily mounted on panels or walls to provide a range of options for any type of industrial environment. Other features include RS232 and USB dual touch interface; VGA and DVI-D dual video input port; and an operating temperature of 0 to 50°C.
